T4 wireless, a leading wireless certification & testing laboratory, and Comsys Mobile, a leader in communication processors for 4G mobile devices, announced today that they have completed Clearwire WiMAX™ iIOT (interim Inter-Operability Testing) of the ComMAX^® CM1125 handset reference platform at AT4 wireless WiMAX labs in Herndon (Virginia), USA.

The ComMAX CM1125 is Comsys Mobile’s award-winning single-chip multimode mobile WiMAX/GSM-EDGE communication processor. Optimized for handsets and other hand-held devices, the CM1125 features exceptionally low power operation, a highly embedded PHY/MAC, and high vehicular speed support while providing co-existence support for WiMAX, GSM-EDGE, WLAN and Bluetooth^®. The commercially available processor is supported by a complete handset reference design platform integrating solutions from multiple ComMAX ecosystem partners for accelerated time to market and reduced development costs.

AT4 wireless has been spearheading WiMAX IOT & certification testing, and leading mobile WiMAX™ service providers rely on AT4 wireless to carry out their interoperability testing.
