CSL Chooses Amdocs ChangingWorlds Solution to Launch MyNet

Written by admin on February 16, 2010 – 12:41 am

At GSMA’s Mobile World Congress,Amdocs DOX, the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that CSL Limited (CSL), Hong Kong’s leading mobile operator, has chosen an Amdocs ChangingWorlds solution to support its new, innovative mobile Internet service, MyNet.

CSL last year launched its award-winning All-IP Next G™ network in Hong Kong.  With its high speed and enhanced capacity, this network offers sophisticated mobile content offerings such as Studio On Demand™, Musicholic™ and EXpresso™ that enrich the mobile broadband user experience. CSL is now offering its customers another first: MyNet, a new multi-language personalized mobile internet experience. The Amdocs ChangingWorlds solution supports MyNet by learning from the user’s behavior and usage patterns to build a customer profile. This information is applied to suggest links to both on- and off-portal content via a browser bar. The service is browser and handset independent, ensuring a superior customer experience that encourages frequent use.

This level of personalization enables MyNet users to receive a different mobile Internet experience. For example, a user with multiple interests such as sports, financial markets and restaurants, can choose to be presented with content that reflects these interests, prioritized on their mobile internet service.

“The Hong Kong market has enthusiastically adopted both smartphone devices and the mobile Internet, but the interfaces are not conducive for mobile Internet browsing. This has made it difficult for users to find the specific content they’re looking for,” said Tarek Robbiati, group managing director, Telstra International and chief executive officer, CSL Limited. “The launch of Next G™ allows us to offer our customers a personalized mobile Internet user experience across any device. The Amdocs ChangingWorlds solution makes it easy for users to experience what they want, when they want it.”

The introduction of MyNet expands the existing relationship with CSL, which uses Amdocs ChangingWorlds’ solutions to evolve and continually enhance its mobile data strategy across its Next G™ network.”

Written by admin on January 7, 2010 – 12:24 am

Mobiltel (M-Tel), the largest mobile provider in Bulgaria, and Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems (CES), today announced the deployment of Amdocs CES Customer Management products at M-Tel. More than 1,000 users across M-Tel’s contact centers and retail shops can now handle customer interactions more efficiently, better execute marketing initiatives, and offer improved customer service. The deployment is part of a larger project encompassing integrated billing, ordering and customer management solutions from Amdocs.

Amdocs also worked with its global strategic partner, SAS, to deliver SAS’ Campaign Management software and integrate it with the Amdocs Customer Management products. Amdocs acted as the prime systems integrator for implementing SAS and Amdocs products, and now provides ongoing product support and maintenance.

“Having Amdocs provide both the products and the system integration services drove a rapid, cost-efficient deployment,” said Alexander Kuchar, chief technology officer at M-Tel. “We’re now able to offer our customers a more compelling and consistent service experience, regardless as to whether they call our contact centers or visit one of our stores.”

The products deployed include Amdocs Smart Agent Desktop and Amdocs Support for better control over every aspect of the service process — from initial customer contact to resolution. The products are built on Amdocs’ Smart Client Framework which delivers enhanced performance for high-volume contact centers, helping to reduce the handling time of customer service requests and save on operational costs.

By deploying SAS’ Campaign Management software in conjunction with Amdocs Customer Management products, M-Tel will be able to plan and design marketing initiatives and promotions targeted to specific customer segments, and then execute them effectively over multiple channels in order to drive sales.
